It's in Northern Minnesota, 1400 miles away or so, $1250 was the asking price, no title.

Because there is nobody that needs those parts in Northern MN, and the asking price was too high for the boys to part it out on the spot. I have a friend that lives within ten miles of that truck, he's a VW guy, and he hasn't bought it either.

Don't N. Minnesota cars have like a 5-10 year life span due to rust? Suprised that single cab looks that good for where it is!

It's got plenty of rust, too. It may have gotten most of that rust with less than ten years on the road. The rest of it came from living within range of salt covered roads.
When I visit my family in MN, I see cars that are less than ten years old with big rust bubbles on the body. It really is awful.
