I just got 2 old volkswagen beetles given to me. Both need LOTS of work. My question is: Will the seats of a 74 fit in these pre 70s beetles? I am an absolute VW newbie. Please be patient with me! |

Not without welding in the newer seat tracks and pedestals. Up to 70 is one style, 71-2 is another, then 73 and newer is the last, which is also the same as early rabbit _________________ TROY

Thanks Troy! I found a set of 74 seats for 60 bucks and mine are trashed. Just not sure how much trouble this would be worth or should I just wait to see if I can find some original style seats. |

I also have some seat. I have a front seat set for a 58-64. A driver side front 58-64 and tow passenger 65-66 seat. The frames are in great condition. Ready to restore and cover. |
