| No worries..........I used it on everything and was very happy. The stuff is tough and I like the fact you can put it on any way you want. Just thought it might be an option and save you some $. Keep the pics coming. |

Been putting some time in on the bus. Making some progress. Here are a couple pics.
Some rust in the right dog leg.
Rust cut out, ready for a patch.

Some work completed on the cargo rocker area. The cargo floor edge wasnt terrible, but had some rust through.
Hopefully, get the outer rocker in tomorrow. |

I was able to get some free time today and got a little more work done on the bus. I've been trying to atleast put an hour a day into the bus. Usually when I get out to the garage and start working I end up putting more time in than my hour 
I'm pretty close to applying POR-15 to the bottom of the bus. I have a couple things that I need to finish up before that happens. One of which is the cargo rocker.
Cleaned up the inner rocker
POR-15 on the inner rocker. I also scuffed up the outer rocker and applied POR-15
Rocker welded in.
Tried to get my gaps as close as possible. Easier said than done!! After some tweeking of the Wolfsburg West outer rocker and some cutting here and there....

are you useing gas for your welder or flux core wire? i just got my welder and am not using gas or flex core wire and my welds dont look that nice iam still practiceing |

I'm using gas. Flux core is too messy in my opinion.
Did you mean to say that your not using gas OR Flux wire? You need to use one or the other or you welds won't be shielded and will be contaminated. If that is the case-they will always look bad. |

i am very new to welding started last week and i have lots to do on my 65 bug just need to practice more[img][/img] |

From Suncrest--you're about 10 min from me. I'm on 5-mile.
I would personally get a bottle and use gas if your welder is set up for it. Unless its a $$ deal. The flux wire is pretty messy and requires a lot more cleaning up than gas welding. Welding thinner metal is also more difficult with flux shielded wire if I recall. More experienced welders would know better. Im just starting out as well. I'm no expert by any means. |

I was able to finish up sandblasting the bottom and laying down some primer.
Here it is all sandblasted
Finally put down some primer. I am using the Master Series primer and going to topcoat it with the Master Series AG 111.
In primer
Hopefully Tuesday morning I will be able to topcoat. |

Thanks Dan. Hopefully tomorrow put down some paint over the primer.
Trying to get the bus on wheels before the new year. However, there is a lot of work before that can be done. |

Was able to install the heater tube. I also painted the bottom! Using my Iphone in poor lighting--sorry.

I ended up going with the Master Series. I used the POR15 on a couple little things and really didnt like the way it turned out. I really liked the Master Series and will use it again. Thanks for the suggestion. |
