|

Well I have 34 pict3 I'm going to start running on my 1600DP and I'm in need of a good used SVDA distributor to use with it so I don't get that flat spot from a 009 I have on it right now. I have a 019 I could run but I'd rather keep that on my square cause it's happy with that distributor. I also have a 205M off my 40hp motor but that's only vacuum advance correct? And wouldn't work well with a 34pict3?
If ya have one you don't need hanging around anymore let me know. I'm working on a budget right now so anything helps
Thanks guys |

Yep, the one with the bug is a 68' beetle dist, vacuum advance only. You want the SVDA that ends in 034. I only have the one I just put on the bus...but I'm looking for more. Keep an eye out for one for you too. Order up a 60 idle jet from Wolfgang too...it helps.

Stick a pop rivet in the hole in the throttle butterfly. It helps with the hesitation. If you run ethanol blended fuel, open the main jet one step, too.
It might be best to buy a new SVDA, as used ones are difficult to find, and are often worn out. I understand budget constraints, though. I am in the same boat. |
