Who's in to head to this years Spring meet? I'm hoping to finish up the Glauser bus for it's maiden voyage road trip.

I have a place lined up for us to crash at in Issaquah for the night. Probably fit 10 buses. Peter (empiracer) offered up his driveway, and hanging out the night before the show for the East siders coming over.

That's cool. I am not sure if I can make it yet, but I'm going to try. |

With the 57 Corey? Peter sent me a link for you...he said he used these tail lights to get his Kombi on the road. Said they aren't that bad for the price.

But I do need to get over there and get the title belt back!! |

Those tail lights are out of stock with all of the suppliers I have found. I called EIS, as they are the ones that make them, and was told they will be producing them again, but could not give me a date when they would be available. that is what I used in my 57 standard, and they work just fine. I put up my wanted ad about the time I found out that they were no longer available anywhere. No luck finding any yet. I'll just run the dollar tail lights that were in the bus when I bought it. Hole size is the same.
Kaleb, Eric mentioned that you and Wheezy may be into a ride-a-long. I will have the 70 ready to go, and I am just as poor as you guys so that may be the answer. The 57 will not be ready in time unfortunately. I'll put the rear seat back in the 70 for the trip over. I had started to remove things last fall to start on the camper interior, and never really got any farther.
Engine will be back in today or tomorrow. Let's talk about doing this trip together. |

Yea, I would definitely be down to pitch in some $$ for the journey over there if you have room for an extra passenger. |

That's fine with me, I don't think I have ever rode in the back of a bus. I will try to refrain from licking the windows, unless there's a sparkle helmet in the back that fits me. |

Is that a euphemism for genital piercing? |

The "going to try" was more centered on not being able to drop the cash for gas. If we are carpooling, I am in 100%. Engine is back in the bus, insurance is fresh, and I plan to drive it all next week to make sure everything is up to snuff. Just need to finish a few ancillaries, and install the rear bumper. My wife is out of town for the weekend, or it would already be done. Went fishing with my daughter today instead of working on the bus. Beautiful day.
I have not heard back for Eric ,either. But he is delivering a bunch of stuff to some West side boys so he plans to be back in time for the show. |

I am planning to swap, and if we set up the bus with just the middle seat there is lots of room in the back. Not sure if I have middle seat belts, though, I'll have to check.
I am going to have to do some digging to come up with a few swap items. Pickin's are a bit slim here on the north side of town. |
