can your front wheel bearing races get sucked into the hub?
i cannot tighten my bearings anymore and i still have too much deflection up and down.
anything i can do??? _________________ hakunamatata |

I would say that it would be pretty impossible for the race to get sucked into the hub (drum), because the inner diameter of the bearing will only allow it to go so far on the spindle. If you have deflection on the bearing, and you can't get it tight enough....it's probably pretty worn out. I always repack bearings, re-install on spindle with drum, over torque the spindle nut while turning the drum by hand to seat the bearings, back off the spindle nut, then torque to spec.
