1982 Rabbit Convertible heater blower motor removal?

Where is and how do you get the heater blower motor out of a 1982 Rabbit Convertible?

it will slip out from under the dash. You will need to remove the center console knee bar. I believe it has two bolts to the fire wall and 4 bolts under the rain tray(under hood). You should not have to remove the whole dash.

It comes out from under the hood and the blower motor is a hard item to find. I found one on E-Bay.

my bad thinking of heater core, did you get a blower motor yet?

I should get it on WED. It will take about 30min to put it in. The old one was to far gone to rebuild.
