Aircooled Head work...locally done!!

I know this question has been asked alot of times on here...who does engine work locally? Well, these guys http://www.sunwestautomotiveengines.com/contact.php are in Medical Lake, and specialize in Toyota engines, but they have tooling to flycut Aircooled VW heads now. I just had a set of dual-port heads rebuilt... $125 for labor, I provided valves from CIP1..think they were about $5.75 a valve.
I didn't need my heads flycut, so I didn't get a price...I'll ask him tomorrow and post. He's working on finding a line-bore shaft, then he'll be able to do it all for us. One of my heads were cracked between the intake and exhaust valve. He peened it, and you can't even tell it was there. Anyways...if you go there, tell him I sent ya'!!

Last time I went there. (2 months ago) he acted like he didn't even wanna touch an acvw head. And definatly wasn't able to fly cut.
My how things change so quickly.
