Was checking out the bus and noticed that the door gap seemed excessive on both doors.
Both doors close fine.
Is there anyway to adjust this?

Make sure the pins are tight first. Then make sure the hinges are tight to the door. _________________ TROY

Here's my theory on VW doors... They aren't designed like american made cars with infinite adjustment. If your doors don't sag when you open them, and line up with the catch on the pillar when you close it....it's better to just let it be. If you are doing a concourse car, yeah, I'd worry about gaps being equal, ect. Check the hinge pins by lifting up on the bottom of the door. You're door hinges could also be "Sprung" or opened at some point too far forward. This can either pull the hinge away from the door, or in my case, rip the entire hinge off the door (only spot welds hold it on). I would kill to have doors that look as good shape as yours!! I'm working on exactly the same thing on my bus, but trying as hard as I can to save the doors, because it's an OG logo'd bus.

Hinges are rivited to the doors. If pins and hinges are tight, the only adjustment will be at the piller or by bending the hinge itself. These things were not perfect when new, gaps were good but not always even. _________________ TROY
