This little gem followed me home, so I couldn't turn it away.

I think your doors fit your bus better than they would fit this one. I will get more pics up when I get the chance.

Correcto Troy, 63 on the m tag and title (always good when they match). A samba member has a post going right now of almost the exact same bus, even year, but she is calling it a sundial?
Yo! Long roofs, sandals, any ideas?
I vote rivi, but then again I voted for bush his first term

Wish my bus was that complete when I got it! what's the VIN? PM me...wonder how far ours are apart? Looks like a rainbow sticker on the back window? Bet that bus can tell some stories! Think I saw some Riveria windows recently on Samba.... Is it a 1-ton option bus? Eric schoole'd me on that.

Kaleb, Could be a Sundial, they had them side windows, so hard to tell with the camper companies back then, cause they used some of the same parts. We need interior pictures, especially of the roof wood...
Here are some photos of my old '66 Riveria...side windows slide open side to side, not hinge from the top (like most Sundials).
Glad you had a good trip.

Well, I see the 1500 badge on the decklid, so left mounted air cleaner and should have the one-ton running gear, small nut axle, big brakes front and rear with 20mm link pins

It does have the left side air filter, as for the other identifying characteristics I don't know, yet. The interior is pretty much all gone, has some bits and pieces, ice box, side closet and small other pieces. The wood in the roof is all gone too, the po said he threw out all the interior as it was ratty, and tossed the roof rack too. I will see what I find in the boxes of parts that came with it tonight.

Eric, the 1-ton should have the "1500" emblem too? You gotta be kidding me....yet another "63" part I need to track down???? Wait, I know this guy who has one.... Nice score Kaleb! I didn't realize how far you were going to get this one....looks like Republic was just up the road on the map. Jordan seems interested in checking out those free bugs up there.

Got to do some cleaning inside the bus last night. I'm thinking it is a sundial now, as the few interior pieces I did find do not look like erics pics. The closet door doesn't have a mirror, the front of the fridge is not covered in vinyl, and the fridge name is mobileair.
After going threw some boxes I did find two metal plates that said "pass side vent" and "driver side vent". These plates however had words stamped into them like printing plates, I wire brushed them, and I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure they are pap smear exam printing plates.
