rod's bug for sale again.

Drove by Rod's house on driscoll blvd last night to pick matt up and noticed that Rod is trying to sell his bug again.
It's primer gray and gold with darker grey flames and old 5 slot aluminum wheels. Don't know the price but here is his number.
892-8450 I think it's real hard to read it in my phones pics. any way Rod lives just south of River Ridge Hardware on garland and driscol blvd. he has an old willeys jeep and a 15 or 21 window bus under his carport along with a trike in progress in his yard. he is a pretty decent guy and is the person I bought my 72 from.
Just wanted to put the word out to my fellow vdubbers in our area.

I know exactly the Bug your talking about. I see it almost daily (Our kid goes to Finch) and am glad it at least lives under an overhang! As Sprø Norsk pointed out, his bus is SWEET and has more windows than I can count when I drive by!

I took the initiative and called the 892-8450 number but it had the dreaded "Not In Service" message. Maybe I will (Shudder) go nock on his door then run away...I mean, ask him about the bug and GORGEOUS Bus.
