I found this and another on at the museum on Ft. Lewis. I wish they would let me "borrow" the front beam. I mean I would return a front beam back to them. It's known to the army as a Fast Assualt Vehicle. about 1000 were made for the special op's guys to play with.

loks like fun. I've seen vids of them flying aroud on the duens in them.
It's just incredible to think, just a litle over 50 years ago, we were up against the germans, and now....the exact same technology......is stil god enough to use in current actions.
Goes to show you..... build it right the first time.

it looks like one of Chenowth's designs. They've been playing around with FAV's for years now, mostly used by Ops.

I have nearly the same pictures from ft lewis. It did not have an engine when I was there though...

You are correct, they contracted with the Armed Forces for several. I had the same exact buggy minus the military stuff and no fenders !!!
