Ok, tell me if it's been done...

I saw on thread on The Samba with a picture on it that a guy took of his lady being "eaten" by his Bug. She was laying under the hood. It's a pretty funny picture and it gave me a thought.

I'd like to make a calendar of local Bugs in different funny scenarios, each fitting the month they represent. Each picture would also have the owner's name and a bit of info about the car underneath.

For instance, October would show the front end of a Bug with candy wrappers around it and on the fender next to a crying kid in a costume with a torn candy bag.

I was thinking Jim's little beast would do nicely for that one.

Since I'm pretty darn good with Photoshop, some stuff can just be edited in for some of the ideas I've got.

There are a couple months I still need idea for and would love to hear anything anoyone has.

I want there to be a variety of Bugs in it and was hoping maybe some people would allow some of their cars to pose (tastefully, I promise).

After that, maybe something that isn't just for Bugs...any local VWs.

I'm a creative dork and think it would be a lot of fun.

With the ideas I've got, I'm going to need about 17 cars for this...or a few cars that can be in a couple shots.

I need to find someone who has a Bug or two lying around covered with weeds for one of the shots I want to do in the warmer months...

So far, I've got 3 Bugs (including mine) to volunteer to pose....not quite enough. Lol.

I think I can maybe talk Jeff (BadBugTwo) into helping out, too. *Shrugs*

The snow plow pic is great, by the way! I'd like to try that one without the Bug being covered with snow. I have a camera, I'll travel. Lol.

Since this is going to be for 2010, I've got all year to come up with material.

I think I'm going to start collecting pictures for the other calendar, too.

I hav the old rugged 56 its ugly but a driver. There are also alot of nice busses over in spokane too.

It isn't going far from my garage for a while, but it looks good externally, and
isn't tough for me to push!
