Can a VW bus be stripped down entirely to the pan?

I know you can do it with a beetle, but can you remove the sidepanels and rear panel on a bus without cutting metal?

No, a bus doesn't have a pan, the frame is part of the body. The doors, engine lid, rear apron and rear hatch are the only bolt on body panels on a bus
