Hello,
I had a fully restored to original 1962 beetle beryl green ragtop until recently (a car ran a light and hit me). The car is not fixable but there are many great parts on the car that I will sell.
Some of the things I am selling off of the car.
The engine is the original engine for the car and is factory correct has 43k.
Transmission.
Just bought new tires this year, they have 1500 maybe on them. They are the correct size. I special ordered them. And a spare with 2 inch white wall for car shows.
Seats are great.
The correct door panels for the car.
The original radio for the car, works great.
Door glass.
Mid 90's tool kit that mounts inside of the spare.
Matching door/ignition. SU 164.
Plus spare parts (new distributor cap, rotor, points, jack, pedal covers and other items.)
What do you need? Let's make a deal.
I am keeping the back half of the car intact for a project. So not selling the rear fenders, or the glass, the deck lid or rear bumper. I am also keeping the speedo and the original key to the car.
If you have some needs please let me know. I am going to advertise here first before I move to other venues. If you're interested in anything feel free to reach out. I also have extra parts for the engine also.
I will also consider trades.
Honda 90-110 60's-70's trail bikes, running and ready for use.
Street bike 60's 70's, open to brand.
Guns: 45 Model 1911 style I am open to brand, shotguns 12g pump or side by sides, beretta 9mm's, or ???
old vinyl records, rock.
What else do you have? I like antiques and vintage items. Ask me.
Whatever parts you want, you remove yourself. You break it, you bought it. |

The impact was on the drivers side front end. The impact was so hard you can see the ripples through the roof. The car is bent really bad. I have it insure for 24k and the estimate to fix it was over 26k |

Is the front apron or spare tire well usable? _________________ TROY

I am not real sure. I broke my ankle and my mobility has been limited. Aside from walking around my car I have not tried to pull the hood up. I will go out there tonight and see if I can get it to open.
Also please spread the word. I wanted to give the local club first dibs. After this I am moving to Craigslist, The Samba and PNW VW Swap and Shop. |
