Our mechanic in Sandpoint has decided to hang things up after 30 years of fixing VW"S.
He was a great guy and great mechanic but I need to find a new doctor for when my Bay ails. Any advice? I have heard it said that Hook's does a good, fair and comprehensive job.
Has anyone else been there? I am not as skilled as most of you on mechanical things and need some one I can trust and not worry about.
As always, thank you guys/gals.
By the way, the Lind show of force we did a few years ago was awesome! Is there any thing/challenge else like that brewing on the horizon? |

Hayden Lake Automotive is Really good also. Mark and Duane are top notch guys. Anytime I have something I cant do, they can. They both have extensive VW knowledge. |

Duane knows what he is doing for sure. His dad owned the original shop and I used to take my first VW ('69 bug) there in '72-'73. I took my bus there for my last OC. Mark seems to regard *air-cooled* as a necessary evil. He dissed my bus. _________________ '70 Sunroof Deluxe
