I had Hagerty Insurance when the Bug was running, and they are in close
concert with Barrett-Jackson.
Got the notification about the auction, but didn't know V-dubs would be there.
Very cool... _________________

Way to much money for a 65 bug! Even the others are way overpriced! _________________ 60 11 window

The fact the cars a missmatched not correct cars does not help either. I would expect at those rediculious prices for the vehicles to be 100% factory with all of the rare and propour goods. |

Thats what happens at Barrett Jackson...rich guys with deep pockets. Probably was purchased because they liked the "color". I have a 67' Nova SS that I've been restoring for years.... when I bought that car, it was desirable...but not unattainable. When Barrett Jackson became pretty mainstream, it drove the prices of Novas through the roof. I've seen a few go in the $80-90K price range. If VW's take off on there too...it's hard to say what will happen. I'm not quite sure we'll ever see the "Patina cars" that we love so much though...those rich oil tycoons are more into flash
