I thought it might be intresting to see what kind of VW's everyone has, or wants.
I wouldn't mind a pickup, really want a crew cab. _________________ Cool runnins

Sorry Bucky , figured everyone has seen or is tired of hearing about my cars ! Denise and I have a 1990 Cabriolet (her everyday car) , a 1961 hardtop beetle (Teeroys toy) that I have had close to 20 yrs , and am in the middle of buying Russ's 1958 Sunroof baja . I would like to have a split window sunroof or convertible beetle , a early 23 window buss , and a Hebmuller . TROY |

Current: 58 baja (the Enterprise), 58 Meyers Manx, might be a clone, 77 Beetle (daily driver), 68 single cab (ol Yeller), Herby (belongs to the club),
A-mod autocross car, 67 NSU TTS (trying to go vintage racing),
and to tow all of the above, I just got a 94 Caprice wagon.
I have had every kind of VW except for a Thing.
The only VW's I would still want to have is a Baja with huge suspension travel,
or a real kubel or schwimmwagen.
My next dream car, now that I have the wagon, is a Honda Insight. |

Yeah, I took it to the autocross just to see how it drove, and with 4 people in the car, I beat a guy in a Mustang and won F-Stock!
The late model wagons have cool mechanicals, LT1 V8, truck tranny, posi rear ends, etc.
Mine has the tow package and is rated at 5000 pounds.
Way cooler than a truck! |
