Last night the kids wanted to watch Herbie goes to Monte Carlo. So we did. My oldest said it would be cool if I bought a strip kit and did our 62 ragtop up like Herbie for the Car d' Alene cruise. My beetle is beryl green. Its fully restored to original factory condition. I wanted to put a picture on here but I cant seem to.
What do you all think? Should I?

Herbie is cool but your nice beryl green bug is cooler in my opinion. Leave your current but as is and look for a project to build with your kids for a Herbie bug. If that would work in your budget.
