I have a '99 that is giving me an odd problem with the emergency brake indicator light. Whenever the cabin fan is turned on, A/C on or not, the indicator light blinks and beeps three times. I'm seeing in some forums that a VAG-com diagnostics tool may help determine the issue. By far the most touted is Ross-Tech's -- at $349 I can't justify buying it for this. Anyone have one, or similar, and be willing to run the diag? Would be happy to pay a small fee. Otherwise, if someone has a recommendation for a lower cost diag tool, I'd love to hear it.
