Which Tranny to use? 113 301 103 L --OR-- 113 301 103 K

We have two transmissions. I think both are OK. One is a 113 301 103 L and the other is a 113 301 103 K.

Is there any particular love or hate for either of these versions?

Which ever has the cleanest oil and the least slop. They are both the same gear ratio (AT code). The 113 # is the case part number not the year and ratio (that is the determined by the serial #). Both should be 3.88
