1969 Beetle needs a new home $1,700 OBO

Newer engine, however this car has an overheating problem. The engine has been taken apart and completely re-sealed. (An expensive procedure)

I have not taken the car to a mechanic since it was re-sealed so I'm not sure why it's overheating still, just didn't want to chance driving it after the re-seal.

It has a brand new battery but will need to be jumped since I haven't driven it in awhile. If you purchase this you may want to have it towed if traveling a long distance.

I just do not have the finances to have it looked into further.
I've spent thousands already but am expecting a baby in September and can't invest any more.

Engine:
5 yr old Mofoco built 1600 dual port long block
Convert to dual port for better air-flow
Convert from oil bath to high performance KC air filter
New generator and generator pulley

Interior:
Custom made grey/black 12 piece carpet
Custom made upholstery front and back seats; red/black with matching door panels and center console.
Seats completely stripped to bare wire and remade to original standards using material from Wolfsburg West.
Black headliner and visors
Premium quality sound deadening material and carpet padding under carpet
New dash pad, black

Exterior:
Desperately needs a paint job, rust is minimal and close to the surface.
Body is very straight (the reason I bought it in the first place.)

Extras:
Fat dual exhaust pipes with beveled ends
Completely new floor pans from front to back, both sides.
Electrically overhauled
