I say the first REAL VW because I once owned an '88 Fox, what a pile that was. So I got the ole' turd converted to 12v this weekend. Stripped the single stage paint from the mid-section down to the original white for a nice two tone look. Painted the wheels red, plan on getting some wide whites when I can afford it. Still has the original 1300, unmolested. So next time there is a get together, I can actually attend!
