good day
well i have been taking apart my front beam to put all parts on my nerrowed
beam and want to install drop spindels and new king pin kit but. how do i get the brass bushings out of holes of the link pin area to get to the king pins.
do the bushing have to be pressed in and out or iam i missing a step

You are going to have to buy a good manual (Bentley) to get the dimensions and instructions you need for this job. You can't do the king pin without a special reamer and a press. You can do the link pin bushings with sockets and a vise, or hammer. |

I have the Beetle king pin reamer for once you press the bushings in. A friend had a hard time with this job due to the new king pin bushings being too big, the reamer could not even start. New parts are not always the answer anymore. |
