So I am trying to pull out the tie rod from the right spindle. THis thing is not going anywhere. Any ideas? I have been using a hammer, no luck.
In a book I have they show using one of these. Any Idea on where I could get one? I tried going around town to find one of the ball joint presses, no luck. So I do not think I could find one of these in town unless someone knows where I could borrow one?
thanks |

Hi Jonathan,
I replaced the tie rod ends on my bus and had the same problem. I rented a front end tool kit from Schuck's that included all of the tools I needed to do the tie rods and the rest of the front end. It was only $6.00 to rent for a full day and it was a life saver.
Good luck!
