My son's 67' tasty died yesterday and now it will sputtered but not idle smooth or rev up. Thought was electrical. Replaced coil, regulator, plugs and plug wires. Set points and timing. That didn't help. So I checked fuel and getting plenty through fuel pump. Plenty of blue spark. Who out there is a genius cuz as simple as this engine is I feel like an idiot and I am stumped. Engine has about 3k miles on it and it is a dual solex carb set up. Thanks for your help.

| Make sure the balance tube didn't come off. Should be a vacuum hose or metal tube conected to both intake manifolds, won't hardly run at all if it's off. |

Thanks, saw that tube and made sure it was hooked up. Seems a little loose is that ok? Or should it have clamps on it?
