Thought I should finally sing in and say hi. Been checking out your web sight for a while. Maybe I can put my 2 cents in every once and a while (for what it is worth). Lived here in Wenatchee for 45 years. Got my first VW when I was 12, 40 + years ago, and still playing with them. Currently have a 72 baja, just finished a 65 beetle, a 69 topless v-rod and just picked up a 57 bug that has beed sitting in a barn for 18 years. I will post some pics sometime. I had the 69 at your show a couple of years ago. May I will run into some of you guys at up coming events. |

No, they where here in Wenatchee. There was 2 of them. I got one and my brother got the other. Both rust free still on the original pans with the spit case trannys. Mine is missing the W deck lid. Along with them we got boxes of extra eng parts, 5 transaxles, a couple of single port eng cores and a few extra window glass sets. |
