k so this is my actual first real post in this forum, i have a 96 audi a4 with the 5 speed auto in it and a 2.8 under the hood and i cannot get the front pump out of the trans. do i need a special tool or what? im new to vw's i have a passat vr6 and the a4 they are the first 2 dub cars ive owned any help would be greatly appreciated thanks... _________________ 1995 Vw Passat VR6 5 speed
piped
push button ignition
1996 Audi A4 2.8 automatic
all stock but sadly ripped apart for a trans seal

Not to be too much of a Debbie Downer in here, but most people here are into air-cooled Vw's... I would guess if the pump is like most automatic pumps, it will either need to be pulled or pressed out of the case?

thanks for the reply i kinda figured that, but im sure there is somebody here who knows i dont want to have to take the trans into a shop to have it pulled id rather do it myself _________________ 1995 Vw Passat VR6 5 speed
