So my air cooler is installed with all the right parts. Thanks Corey and Mitch. Mitch said to look and see if the thingie (sorry) comes open on the cooler when it is very warm out, in order that cooler air is directed to the valves. He said if it does not open it has to be adjusted. So, is your oil temperature a good indicator of whether your valves are being sufficiently cooled? How do you know when to check? Drive 50 miles at 50 MPH in 90 degree weather and hop out and look at it or what? Thanks you guys, I'm trying to learn. Sunroof day today for sure. _________________ '70 Sunroof Deluxe

Cleaner, I guess. I'm sure you knew what I was talking about when I described it. Thanks for making me feel more ignorant than I already am. I sure won't ask for help here again. _________________ '70 Sunroof Deluxe

No, was hoping you would describe the part so we could help answer your question. I thought you might be asking about the thermostat underneath, for the engine flaps. But it sounds like you want to check the valve in the air cleaner. There are several styles that came on Bays from 68-71 without seeing yours in person or a picture, I can't say (maybe Corey can since he is more familiar with whats on your bus). Please ask any and all questions when they come up, some one will have an answer for you. TROY _________________ TROY
