I think infected my 15 year old son with the VW virus. Since I'm back in town and looking for a body for my hacked up 72 baja (I'm wanting to go class 11 lookalike) we found the lime green 70 bug on craigslist but the guy isn't answering my e-mails. So, I'm putting this out to my fellow VW fans. We are looking for a bug in decent shape that he can work on after we switch bodies. no need for an engine as I have one thanks to Neil. I know I talked to Eric aka long roofs a while back when I was either in Iraq or at Ft. lewis waiting to be sent back home.
I hope you guys can help us.

If you just need a body I have one in fairly decent condition. no title. It's on a pan but I need the clutch tube and shift rod out of it.
I also have a 65 bug that runs and drives but needs some body work and rust repair.
I also have some baja fenders and such.
