1974 vw thing for sale. rebuilt motor, straight body, interior fair will need paint job. possibly consider trade for a vw bus in fair shape. $2200

| Do you have a year or style of bus in mind? ie. Westfalia, panel, kombi, bay window or split window? This might narrow down the possibilities. Thanks...Richard |

hi richard. well im not sure what type. my wife wants a bus bad. i think a westy, a bay window or a split. she isnt real picky on which one. i want to get her one and paint it like aqua blue with pink flowers on it and make it kinda hippy, so the paint appearance isnt real important id just like a straight body, and a good running motor in it. thanks

Hi Jacklegged thing, I have the thing deparment covered, although it sounds tempting. however I do have a 74 westy baywindow I need to get out of my drive way. I'd let it go cheap.
BTW I would trade, but don't think my baywindow is worth what your asking for the Thing and don't have the remainder to part with. I would consider part trade for thing parts or something.
