Thought I'd post a pic after all of the new suspension, Eric (long-roofs) did the 5" beam, and I did some spring plate extensions in the back. Waiting on my 145/65s for my bare smoothies to show up so I can really get the front end down. This is the same car that kevin was selling back in the summer, heres some before/after pics.

tires came from tire rack, they're on back order til the end of the month though, so Im ridin high until then. The beam fit great man! I had the thing done and on the road in about 2 hrs, still need to mess with the alignment though but it rides great. Ill get some pics up when I get the tires and spindles on.

I was reading, when narrowing over 4", you want to put a quick steer kit in to help with steering.
I am almost done with my narrowed beam for this original paint '65.

I wish the guy had made a set of four, of those wheels. Those are the only two, he had them made by a friend in Hollywood in the early '70's. Here is a picture of his bus (orange 15 window) with them on the front when bought in 2003.
Here is how the bus turned out.

That is a nice ride! I have a lowered 69'. Not as slammed as yours! Wow! Very nice. I hope you can make the bugfair so I can take a look. If not maybe I'll see you on base.

Thanks, unfortunately I will be out of town the week of the show, I want to work with some of the guys and try to organize more events around here though, you should see the car around base. I drive it every day; do you work at the base?

I'd like to be one of them, but with no fighters, an ex-weapons d00d is
kind of out of luck.
And my chosen profession since getting out in `92 is IT. Not so much for
civvy's in that field...

What are you doing with your other tires? I need a set if you want to sell them.
