Do my eyes decieve me....or is the caravan over-taking the vehicle pulling the camper in the left lane??
Eric, did you get the bus lunch box from that guy in Tri-cities....looks like the one that's been on Samba forever. Looks like you guys had some pretty decent weather!

No Scott, caravan was right lane most the time.
Not sure about the lunch box from Tri-Cities, an older guy had this one at the show, not sure where he was from....do you have details of the one, price etc...?
Weather was not bad.

I think that guy was asking about $50 or more for the box in the Tri Cities....name is catfish or something like that on Samba. I just remember that I'd never let one of the kids take it to school at that price!! Looks like a good Swap meet money box!

Catfishxxx is Erik in Wenatchee, I sold him a '66 Bus years ago, it was not him.

Well, you can bet I did not pay even close to that. They are from '62 when folks took a Bus on a test drive.
The swap meet was loaded with good deals, just about everyone got fair priced goods. The steering wheel was my great deal, very rare in that color, and such mint shape. They were a 7 month sales booster thing in '61, HubcapT found me the matching grab handle at a different both for cheap!

That's cool...I kinda figured that you wouldn't of paid over $20 for something like that!! Maybe traded some parts or something....but never $400!!! That mint steering wheel is the same color as the bug you told me about...the one in pieces?? Glad you guys were able to snatch up some deals!!!

I do not recall this 'in pieces' Beetle, does it have a steering column with that color in it? We could use that, Troy hooked us up with the turn signal switch today.....pics soon
